Each blue point represents an individual diagnosed with autism and deemed by the clinician to meet the DSM-IV-TR Autistic Disorder criteria. The black line indicates the best linear fit. As both the total ADOS score and certainty rating can only take integer values, the points were shifted by small random values (jitter) to ease visual inspection of the correlation
