Figure 6

Correlation between expression levels of MAPK /ERK in the brain and in lymphocytes. Proteins were extracted from the brains and lymphocytes of four BTBR, four B6, and eight F2 mice. The expression and activity levels of MEK and ERK were compared between the brain and lymphocytes of each mouse, using Western blot analysis. A) The phosphorylation levels of MEK and ERK in the brain and lymphocytes of mice were significantly correlated using Spearman’s rank correlation coefficient analysis. B) Significant correlation in total expression levels of Mek and Erk proteins between the brains and lymphocytes of mice. BTBR: green dot, B6: red dot, F2: blue dot. (Erk, Extracellular signal-regulated kinase; p-Erk, phosphorylated extracellular signal-regulated kinase; Mapk, Mitogen-activated protein kinase; Mek, Mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase; p-Mek, phosphorylated Mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase).
