Diverse set of ASD-associated genes produce similar pathway-level perturbations when knocked down. A total of 269 hypotheses were observed in at least three of the experiments and not in the blank. Only the hypotheses that were observed in at least 6 of the treatment conditions are included in the figure (red squares indicate that the hypothesis was identified for that experimental condition). Additional file 5: Table S4 list contains a full list of the 269 hypotheses. The notation (+) indicates the hypothesis is predicted to be upregulated, and (−) indicates it is predicted to be downregulated. Names highlighted in orange are part of the molecular interaction network (Figure 4).
