Numerous labeled neurons are observed in the stratum radiatum (black arrows) and the adjacent stratum lacunosum-moleculare (open arrows). Only background level staining is observed in the pyramidal cell layer, but there are a variety of labeled neurons in stratum oriens (white arrows).
